Fixed Gear Seoul (the "Company") places great importance on protecting your personal information and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Etc.
Through this Privacy Policy, the Company informs you of the purposes and methods for which the personal information you provide is used, and the measures taken to protect it.

- The Company collects the following personal information for membership registration, inquiries, and service applications:
- At membership registration: name, date of birth, gender, login ID, password, home phone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, and, for members under 14, the legal representative's information
- At service application: address, payment information (however, the Company does not directly store payment method information such as credit card details — these are securely processed through payment processors such as PayPal and the Company's card payment gateway (PG))
- Service usage records, access logs, cookies, access IP addresses, payment records, and records of improper use may be generated and collected during use of the Service or business processing.
b. Collection methods

■ Purposes of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Company uses collected personal information for the following purposes:
- Performance of contracts related to service provision and settlement of fees for services provided — content provision, purchases and payment, delivery of goods or billing addresses, identity verification for financial transactions, and financial services
- Member management — identity verification for membership services, individual identification, prevention of fraudulent use by delinquent members and prevention of unauthorized use, confirmation of intent to join, age verification, confirmation of legal representative consent when collecting personal information of children under 14, handling of complaints, and delivery of notices
- Use in marketing and advertising — delivery of promotional information such as events, and statistics on access frequency or members' use of the Service
■ Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been achieved. However, the following information is retained for the period and reason specified below.
a. Reasons for retention under the Company's internal policy
Even after a member withdraws, the Company may retain the member's information for 1 year from the date the service agreement is terminated, in order to prevent recurrence of fraudulent use by delinquent members, to resolve disputes, and to cooperate with requests from investigative authorities.
b. Reasons for retention under relevant statutes
Where retention is required under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. and other relevant statutes, the Company retains member information for the statutory periods below:
- Records relating to contracts or withdrawal of subscription — Basis: Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. / Retention period: 5 years
- Records relating to payment and supply of goods, etc. — Basis: Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. / Retention period: 5 years
- Records relating to consumer complaints or dispute resolution — Basis: Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. / Retention period: 3 years
- Log records — Basis: Protection of Communications Secrets Act / Retention period: 3 months
■ Procedure and Method for Destroying Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been achieved. The procedure and method are as follows.
- Destruction procedure: Information you entered for membership registration, etc. is transferred to a separate database (or, for paper records, a separate filing cabinet) once its purpose has been achieved, stored for a set period in accordance with internal policy and other relevant statutory data-protection grounds (see Retention and Use Period above), and then destroyed. Personal information transferred to the separate database is not used for any purpose other than retention, except as required by law.
- Destruction method: Personal information stored in electronic file form is deleted using a technical method that prevents the record from being recovered.
■ Provision of Personal Information
In principle, the Company does not provide Users' personal information to outside parties. The following are exceptions:
- Where Users have given prior consent
- Where required by statute, or requested by an investigative agency for investigative purposes in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by statute
■ Entrustment of Collected Personal Information
The Company entrusts the following outside specialist companies to operate certain aspects of the Service:

The Company transfers personal information overseas as follows in order to provide the Service:

Purpose of transfer: Operation of the online store platform and order processing
Country of transfer: Canada, the United States, and other countries where Shopify's servers are located
Timing and method of transfer: Transmitted over the network during use of the Service
Retention and use period: Until termination of the service agreement or the entrustment agreement - Recipient: PayPal (United States)

Purpose of transfer: Overseas payment processing

Items transferred: Inquiry and order-related information collected via e-mail
Purpose of transfer: Customer support and operation of the e-mail service

If you do not wish your personal information to be transferred overseas, you may decline to register as a member or to use the Service. In that case, use of certain Services that presuppose an overseas transfer (such as international shipping or overseas payment) may be restricted.
■ Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them
- Users may, at any time, view or correct their own registered personal information and may also request to withdraw their membership.
- To view or correct personal information, click "Change Personal Information" (or "Edit Member Information," etc.); to withdraw membership (withdraw consent), click "Withdraw Membership." After completing identity verification, you may directly view, correct, or withdraw.
- Alternatively, you may contact the personal information protection officer in writing, by phone, or by e-mail, and the Company will take action without delay.
- If you request correction of an error in your personal information, the Company will not use or provide that personal information until the correction is complete. If the incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will notify the third party of the correction result without delay so the correction is reflected.
- Personal information that has been terminated or deleted at a User's request is processed in accordance with "Retention and Use Period of Personal Information Collected by the Company" above and cannot be viewed or used for any other purpose.

The Company operates "cookies," which periodically store and retrieve your information. A cookie is a very small text file sent to your browser by the server used to operate the website, and it is stored on your computer's hard disk.

- Purpose of use: Analyzing the access frequency and visit duration of Members and non-Members, identifying User preferences and areas of interest and tracking usage patterns, and understanding event participation and visit frequency, in order to provide targeted marketing and personalized services.
